The Nurse is Juliet's best friend, but calling her "mom" would be more appropriate. Unlike Lady Capulet, Juliet's mother, the nurse cares for Juliet, knows exactly when she was born, and has fond memories of her childhood. The Nurse acted like a messenger, meeting with Romeo to discuss wedding plans for him and Juliet. The love of friends was necessary for any future love to blossom.

The love of a mother and father figure is necessary for a character to mature. However, the character cannot be fully sound without input from a peer position. Benvolio provides this insight for Romeo. He tries to reason with the love-sicken Romeo after losing Rosaline. He is the one to convince Romeo to go to the Capulet ball in order to meet a lady more beautiful than Rosaline ("Examples of Love in Romeo and Juliet"). Benvolio allows Romeo to progress with his life instead of wallowing in his self-pity. He strengthened Romeo's character and gave him a more experienced outlook on love. Romeo also displayed friendly love throughout the play. The first instance of this is when he tries to prevent a fight between Mercutio and Tybalt (pg. 652, Line 83). Romeo tries to reason with Mercutio, telling him "Gentle Mercutio, put thy rapier up" (Act III, Scene 1, Line 83), however, does not heed to the warnings and thus arrives upon and early death. The love Romeo showed for his friend does not end at his death. The young, brave man rushes off to avenge the death of Mercutio. He starts a battle with Tybalt in order to take vengeance on his Mercutio's life:

Juliet, on the other hand, is an innocent girl, a childat the beginning of the play, and is startled by the sudden powerof her love for Romeo. Guided by her feelings for him, she developsvery quickly into a determined, capable, mature, and loyal womanwho tempers her extreme feelings of love with sober-mindedness.Romeo is a passionate, extreme, excitable, intelligent, and moody young man, well-liked and admired throughoutVerona. He is loyal to his friends, but his behavior is somewhatunpredictable. At the beginning of the play, he mopes over his hopelessunrequited love for Rosaline. In Juliet, Romeo finds a legitimateobject for the extraordinary passion that he is capable of feeling, and his unyielding love for her takes control of him.Because of the intensity of the relationshipbetween and and the complex development of events duringthe few days of the play’s action, the story can certainly seemto take place over a time span much longer than the one it actuallyoccupies. By compressing all the events of the love story into justa few days, Shakespeare adds weight to every moment, and gives thesense that the action is happening so quickly that characters barelyhave time to react, and, by the end, that matters are careeningout of control. This rush heightens the sense of pressure that hangsin the atmosphere of the play. While it may not seem plausible fora story such as Romeo and Juliet to take place over a span of onlyfour days in the real world, this abbreviated time scheme makessense in the universe of the play. The contrasting darker forces of hatred inject a sense of urgency into the relationship and lead to risk-taking sacrifices as an expression of their love. Tybalt and Mercutio represent the dark forces of each family that threaten the peace and undermine the profound love of Romeo and Juliet. Shakespeare suggests that these malign forces are disruptive and divisive and only lead to death. As a fiery Capulet, Tybalt plays a prominent role in perpetuating the feud through his provocative and misguided attempts to protect their family pride. In this regard, the playwright deliberately sets up a contrast between Tybalt’s indignant and fiery stance, and Romeo’s desire for peace to reinforce his point that the hatred only leads to death and division. Our romantic love between romeo and juliet wallpapers uses classic romantic themes to help you express your love.
